First in a series of six webcasts: Six Steps to Social Media Success in 2010 – Jan 13, 2010
For you Pocono restaurant owners this might be something to look into. I came across this from a tweet by @LizStrauss and want to pass it on to our community. I’ve been a regular reader of Liz’s blog Successful Blog and respect her recommendations.
At $99.00 an event you can pick and choose which webcasts may be of benefit to you. (Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Social Media Hash or Liz Strauss and will not receive monetary compensation for providing this information.)
Link to Social Media Hash eventbrite web page where you can find more information on this series: Social Media How-To for Restaurants – Webcast Series by Social Media Hash.
If you do sign up and attend one of these please leave a reply below letting the rest of us know how it was.

If you want to try it on for size, the first event is free. If the info floats your boat, you can buy the other five events in advance for $399, which will save you about a hundred bucks on the overall package.
As one of the marketing folks taking part in Pocono Tweetup, I’ll take the liberty of suggesting that there are local marketing companies (uh, both my company and Jason’s come to mind here…) that are ready, willing, and – most importantly – ABLE to help you get your social marketing program going.
I know that a lot of business owners have an admirable DIY approach, so the Webinar may benefit you. But managing social media can be a demanding task. If there’s a chance you’re going to let things slip through the cracks, I’d suggest getting some professional guidance.
