Pocono TweetupPeople to People – Sharing Their Skills

Some local business people are gathering tomorrow for an early morning ( 8:00 AM ) cup of coffee and a little sharing of knowledge at Panera Bread about a mile and a half north on 611 of the Stroudsburg Mall.

I have a challenge for anyone that wants to attend. The first person to come up to me (Bruce Flinn) and tell me who Chris Brogan is and what book he coauthored with Julien Smith will get a gift. A bonus gift will be added if that person shows up with the book in hand.

We’ll be talking about the importance of not putting all of your eggs in one basket as it pertains to the Social Media arena.

That’s our topic for tomorrow. Come prepared with your questions and answers.

Our next get together would normally fall on the 23rd of December but as it’s so close to Christmas we’re going to skip it and meet up on January 6th at the usual place – Panera Bread on 611.

It’s was this past December when four people gathered for some coffee and tea to meet each other and talk about life, work and social media – Pocono Tweetup was born.

Jason Trump, Lisa Sanderson, Michael Beckenbach and I sat, sipped, munched and chatted for an hour and half. We decided to do this every other Friday and since that first meeting we’ve had a few new people come and share with us off and on.

Everyone that participates in these tweetups has had something to share and they’ve all taught me a lot about Social Media and the mindset changes that go along with being in this space.

These are “People That Matter!”.
